Georgianne Koch – Legend of Cincinnati Golf
On Thursday, October 23rd, 2025, at the Cooper Creek Event Center, Georgianne Koch will be recognized and honored as one of three Cincinnati Legends of Golf for 2025. In support of this special occasion, we encourage people who know Georgianne well to register to attend this event by clicking the following link. https://www.golfgenius.com/pages/5568630
GEORGIANNE KOCH
Georgianne Koch’s name has become synonymous with leadership, service, and inspiration in the Cincinnati golf community. A proud Buckeye and Bearcat alumna, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University and her MBA from the University of Cincinnati, combining academic achievement with a lifelong passion for the game of golf.
After a successful business career, Georgianne devoted her energy to raising her children and giving back to her community—a journey she fondly refers to as her career in “professional volunteerism.” That spirit of service soon extended to the game she loves, where she has left an indelible mark.
She has served as President of the GCWGA, President of the GCPTA, and Rules Chair for the WOSGA, and today she is a respected USGA National Rules Official, lending her expertise to tournaments from high school to NCAA Regionals and beyond. Her leadership has opened doors for women in golf, not only as players but also as officials, mentors, and decision-makers.
Georgianne’s heart shines brightest through her work with the GCWGA Scholarship Foundation, which has awarded nearly $285,000 in scholarships to 162 young women golfers since 2007. By connecting clubs, coaches, and families, she ensures that the next generation has opportunities to grow—on the course and in life.
For Georgianne, golf is more than a sport. It is a teacher of integrity, fairness, and perseverance—values she models every day. Her warm presence, steady guidance, and tireless commitment have inspired countless players, officials, and leaders.
Georgianne Koch is not just a steward of the game—she is a shining example of what it means to give back, lift others up, and leave the world better than you found it. Congratulations to our friend Georgianne! We are amazed by your energy and commitment to excellence, and we feel fortunate to have you as part of our organization.

October Golf Tip:
ADVICE FROM FEMALE PROFESSIONALS
Advice by Stacy Lewis
“Figure out your weakness and don’t make it your weakness anymore.”
— Stacy Lewis, LPGA Tour Professional Inc.com
What this means (and how to apply it):
-
Be honest about your game: Whether it’s putting, bunker play, or consistency off the tee, pinpoint one area you struggle with most.
-
Then—make it a strength: Work deliberately on that weakness until it no longer holds you back. Don’t let it define you.
-
Over time, your most troublesome part can become one of your greatest areas of confidence.
