LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT:
Dear Members of the
GCWGA:
I would like to welcome you to the
2011 golf season. The
Executive Board has been working very hard to prepare a
fun filled year for all its members. You can find team
play, tournaments and registration deadlines on our
website.
The GCWGA works closely with the GCGA
(Greater Cincinnati Golf Assoc.) in planning of the
Women’s Metropolitan Amateur and Senior Women’s
Championship. You can register for the GCGA/GCWGA
co-sponsored events at www.gcga.org.

Last year was a successful year for
the GCWGA Scholarship Foundation. We awarded 6 $1,000
scholarships to female high school seniors entering
college in the fall of 2010. The SHE (Scholarship for
Higher Education) tournament and Foundation Days at each
club has been a great success. We hope you continue your
support in the Foundation Days at your club and send a
team to the SHE tournament.
It is a great cause to support our future golfers.
Please become familiar with GCWGA and
GCGA web sites. Our goal is to become paperless in the
near future. We will continue to add more information and
eventually all information will be on the web site.
In closing, I want to emphasize the
importance our Delegates and members are to our
organization. We
strongly need your support and willingness to make our
Association a success.

with any questions or concerns. We appreciate your feedback and welcome your input.
